This plugin connects a WooCommerce store to the ProEcom SMS Pakistan platform. Once your API credentials are saved, WooCommerce order events fire text messages using templates you control. You decide which statuses trigger a message, what each message says, and whether the store admin gets a copy. A delivery log inside WordPress records every send, so you can check what went out and whether it reached the handset.

Download the plugin ZIP, then in WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin and activate it.
Open the plugin settings and paste the API key from your ProEcom SMS dashboard, then save.
Select your approved sender ID from the dropdown and send a test message to your own number.
Turn on the order statuses you want to message on and edit each template with the merge tags you need.
Enable checkout OTP if you want phone verification, then place a test order end to end and check the delivery log.
Yes. The plugin is the WooCommerce connector, not the messaging service itself. Messages are sent through your ProEcom SMS Pakistan account using your credits and your registered sender ID. Create the account first, then install the plugin and paste in the API key.
Custom statuses registered properly by another plugin or your theme normally appear in the status list, so you can attach a template to them. Behaviour depends on how the status was registered, so test with a real order before you rely on it in production.
Replies are not handled inside WordPress. Branded alphanumeric sender IDs are typically send-only. If you need two-way conversations, use a short code or long number on your ProEcom SMS account and manage replies in the main dashboard instead.
It adds a verification step, so some drop-off is possible. Stores with a high rate of fake or mistyped numbers usually find the reduction in failed deliveries worth it. You can enable OTP for cash on delivery orders only and leave prepaid checkouts untouched.
