Customers type city names in a dozen spellings, and couriers reject the parcel. This app replaces the free-text field with a searchable list of cities you actually deliver to.
The app swaps the open city field at checkout for a dropdown built from your courier's serviceable city list. The shopper searches, picks a real city, and the order carries a clean value your courier will recognise. Because the app knows the selected city, it can also decide the shipping rate for that city and whether cash on delivery is offered there at all. Cities you do not serve simply are not in the list, so an undeliverable order never gets placed.

Checkout UI extensions and the level of control available at checkout depend on your Shopify plan. Some behaviour can be delivered on standard plans, while full replacement of the native city field typically needs checkout extensibility. You decide. The list can include an other option that routes the order to manual review, or you can leave it out so the order cannot be placed. Missing-city attempts are logged, which is a useful signal about where to expand coverage next.
